The following is a chronology of Frank Tripicchio's many contributions to Bakersfield and beyond:

From 2003 to 2006, Frank was President of the Bakersfield Sister City Project Corp. During his term he facilitated the Sister City relationship with Queretaro, Mexico, and spearheaded the establishment of the Sister City relationship with Bucheon, So.Korea. During the 2004-2005 period Frank chaired the Board of Directors for Kern Bridges Group Home, the Board of Directors for Valley Achievement Center and was President of the Rotary Club of Bakersfield, South.

While working with the Rotary organization, Frank has traveled to various parts of the world, representing Rotary International and his own Club.  His travels for Rotary include Haiti, India, Nigeria, Japan, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Thailand, South Korea, and Tibet. With the Sister City Organization, Frank has traveled to Morocco as a member of an Islamic Peace Initiative, led by MaryJean Eisenhower, granddaughter of the former President. Other countries visited while working with Sister Cities include China, Japan, India, Mexico, and So. Korea.

In 2006, Frank  was elected to the Board of Directors of Sister Cities International, Washington, DC. and held the position until 2012. 

Since 2002, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Southern California Chapter of Sister Cities International,  established to facilitate the interaction of the respective international Sister Cities and the Southern California cities.  In May of 2011, Frank was elected President of SoCal.

Since 2008, Frank has been a member of a non-profit organization, Meet Your Neighbors (MYN), operating under the auspices of the Kern Regional Center Foundation. MYN has been formed to engage and educate the public of the existence, needs and contributions of local residents with disabilities. Every year this group organizes a Grand Finale to a month-long series of educational seminars, events and activities.

Fast forward to 2011.  Frank obtained the certification of CIPS, Certified International Property Specialist and has been retained to market a charming and comfortable home in the Tuscany region, just outside of Lucca. In October of 2011, Frank was chosen by his Rotary District to lead a team of young professionals to Zimbabwe and Mozambique. That trip took place during June 2012.

Prior to departing for Africa, Frank attended the Rotary International Convention in Bangkok, Thailand. From there he traveled to North Korea where he spent about two weeks exploring ways to support two orphanages, presently under the controlled care of the Han-Schneider International Children's Foundation, based in Pasadena, CA.
