Frank Tripicchio, R.E. Broker

Born in Italy, Frank moved to the East Coast in 1961.  He attended technical school to become an electrician, then became a licensed Electrical Contractor and Electrical Inspector in New Jersey.  In 1985, Frank and his family moved to Bakersfield, California, where he decided to pursue a career in realty, and a year later, he become a CA.-licensed Real Estate Agent.  He found this work suited him well, and from 1988 to 1995 Frank earned the top R.E. designations Century 21 had to offer.  From 1996 to 1999, Frank practiced residential and commercial R.E. at Karpe RE Co.  In 2001, he obtained a RE Broker's license, and soon initiated Frank Tripicchio Realty.

The testimonials offered on this website provide a general description of Frank's professionalism and commitment to his clients, his industry, and the community:

Here are some RE transactions in which Frank represented buyer, seller, or both:
  • A local landmark restaurant/nightclub (formerly Maison Jassaud), now a casino.
  • A tourist attraction on the Avenue of the Giants, in northern California, known as Confusion Hill.
  • Sundale Golf Course
  • Circle Deli
  • Hundreds of residences in each of the four Bakersfield geographic quadrants.
  • International Flight Training Academy (broker of record)
  • Families of the grown children of clients Frank represented during his early realtor years.
In addition to transactions in California, from Eureka to San Diego, Frank has represented clients in Arizona, Washington and West Virginia.

Frank derives 90% of his RE business from referrals; this website is the first advertisement since becoming a RE Broker.

In 1994, his line of work initiated what would become a huge part of his life, becoming more active in the community around him.  It was in 1994 that he joined the Italian Heritage Dante Association.  He enjoyed becoming more involved in the community and was delighted to be invited to join the Rotary Club of Bakersfield South in 1995; in 1996 he was elected President of the Italian Heritage Dante Association.  Typically a one-year term, Frank directed that organization for 3.5 years. During that period he organized a restructuring of the by-laws which would allow female members to hold office with all the rights and privileges previously afforded only to male members.

In 1997 he assisted a group of concerned parents in locating and negotiating a Lease/Purchase Agreement for the occupancy and ownership of the Valley Achievement Center, a not-for-profit primary school facility which catered to the emotional and educational needs of children with autism. In 1998 he became a member of the Board of the Valley Achievement Center.

1998 was a busy year for Frank and he traveled for the first time to China as a member of the first delegation, led by Mayor Bob Price, to visit the newest Bakersfield Sister City of Cixi. Upon returning from that trip he joined the Bakersfield Sister City Project Org.  He continued to work with the Sister City organization and in March of 1999, Frank traveled to Siracusa, Sicily, to develop an MOU for a possible future Sister City Relationship with Bakersfield.

In April of 1999 Frank embarked on the journey of a lifetime, which lasted until mid-September of 1999. During those 5.5 months Frank backpacked from the US/Mexico border to the US/Canada border, on the Pacific Crest Trail, ending up in Manning Park, BC., a distance of about 2700 miles. The purpose was to raise funds for Valley Achievement Center.

After all his dedication to the community around him, he has realized the greatest treasure that Bakersfield has to offer is the people who live here.  Through his professional work and his service to so many people, his dedication to the community reflects this philosophy and he continues to find more opportunities to become more involved, and more invested in the lives of those around him in Bakersfield.
